GLENDA BITNER, Equine Program Director

Glenda and her husband, Steve, have been married for 21 years. They were blessed to adopt their son, Connor, 18 years ago. Glenda is an Equine Specialist in Mental Health and Learning, a CHA certified Level 1 English and Western Riding Instructor, and is a TBRI practitioner. She has been working with horses and youth since 2010 at Sunset Therapeutic Riding, Savannah Station, and here at House of Healing. She has served as a volunteer, board member, and now staff member here at HOH. She had a traumatic childhood and wants to help others on the road to healing with the love of Christ.

BAILEE GERIES, Equine Program Assistant

Bailee has worked in behavioral health since 2018 after graduating from Oklahoma State University. She has a degree in Recreational Therapy and a Master’s degree in business. She served as a volunteer at House of Healing before becoming our equine program assistant.

HANK HESTER, Facilities Manager and SPUR Teacher

Hank and his wife, Twylla, recently took over management of House of Healing. Hank was the COO of OKSR, a remediation and restoration company, but recently went part-time to work during the day at House of Healing also. Prior to his role there Hank served in the US Coast Guard and then as a pastor and youth pastor for over 15 years at several churches in OK. He has a passion for ministering to others and sharing the love of Jesus with those he meets. He and Twylla have been active in local, state, national, and international missions in a variety of ways throughout their marriage. They continue to minister in other areas while running HOH. Hank enjoys his time on HOH property, helping out in any way necessary since they live on property.

BILL DENISON, SPUR Teacher

Bill was raised in Albuquerque, NM but has spent the majority of his life in OK.  He received a degree in mechanical engineering and worked as an equipment design engineer and manager for 32 years at Halliburton.  Bill also volunteered time with STEM programs for Duncan schools, served almost 10 years on the board of directors for the Power Shop in Duncan helping adults with disabilities find education and employment, and volunteered with three equine programs for at risk youth and youth with disabilities.  Bill’s wife Donna works as the CFO for a construction company and the two share a blended family with 4 children and 3 grandchildren.  Bill loves sharing his equine experience and is looking forward to his continued involvement with the House of Healing.

TWYLLA HESTER, CEO

Twylla grew up in Oklahoma and spent 20 years in education as a teacher and principal. She received her doctorate in education from the University of Oklahoma and holds her superintendent certification as well. She spent many years working with at risk youth in the school setting and through ministry areas. She has been married to her husband, Hank, since 1997. Together they’ve raised their 3 children here in the Yukon/El Reno area. Together they have served in a variety of ministries across Oklahoma. She is excited for the future of House of Healing and the ways that God will impact lives through this ministry.
